Our first Harris Family Update from Bangkok. Expat life is great so far!

I can’t believe it, but the Harris Family has been in Bangkok for about 7 months now, living the expat life in Thailand. Jet (เจ็ด – jet) is seven in Thai. It’s gone by so quickly, and we’ve loved getting to know this wonderful city and country so far! Here are some reflections and what we’ve been up to.

  • Josh just finished my Computer Science undergrad degree online. I took 24 credit hours in the first 7 months we were here!
  • Josh was accepted into Georgia Tech’s online masters program in Computer Science, where he’ll be studying Machine Learning
  • Ginny has gone from a crawler to a RUNNER and a talker/communicator since we moved here.
  • Ginny has lived about half her life in Bangkok now if you can believe it
  • Jaci is learning to code!

We arrived in December, and promptly began celebrating Christmas in Bangkok
